Series: Life’s Purpose
This phrase life purpose gets tossed around a lot in our society. When you think about life's purpose, what comes to your mind?
For most people it is this big, larger than life thing they came to accomplish in this lifetime. Writing a book, curing cancer, or somehow saving the world from climate change. Those can be factors in your individual life’s purpose. I truly believe life’s purpose is much more multidimensional than this. I believe it is smiling at the cashier, opening the door for someone, or helping in need even on the smallest level.
Life purpose is your driving force, no one can answer this for you. It is an internal exploration to discover, there are many clues and insights.
We are driven by a spiritual unnameable force to complete the mission because before we came into this physical being we had chosen a plan and purpose for this life. This is so infinite the meaning has less to do with the big marks and more to do with connecting to life. Nothing is separate, it is all connected. Science has taught us this for some time now that we are made up of energy and this energy is connected and merges with everything around us. How then could we ever believe that the daily individual things that we engage in are not as equally impactful. Now do not confuse this and believe you must make every second count.
For example, if you want to achieve physical fitness each exercise in a series is just as important as the one before in it to create a desired outcome. You can not get a six pack by doing one round of crunches, it is at least strength building exercises, cardio, and diet in a strong repetition everyday. Your life’s purpose as many things in this world function the same. The small steps and motions, ideas, thoughts, plans and actions.
There are a multitude of ways to begin unlocking your life’s purpose, I will discuss many in this series. First let us try this one on for size. Be fully present live-in joy and allow the universe to guide you.
A good portion of your life’s purpose is living in the moment. Living from passion and joy connects the dots to the large purposes. Like pieces of a puzzle, you can not see the whole picture without each piece. Some days this will come easier than others, each day is a new opportunity that takes you close to your purpose.
